What is the category for Washington state WALTC, WAPFL,WAPML?

It depends. Did you receive a Form W-2, Form 1099-G, or other tax document reporting income or deductions identified by one of these acronyms?

 

WALTC refers to the Washington Long-Term Care Trust Act (WA CARES). Per the Washington Employment Security Division, WALTC is the code that will be used for WA Cares deductions. 

 

WAPFL refers to Washington Paid Family Leave.  Contact your employer or other payer for more information.

 

WAPML is Washington Paid Medical Leave. Contact your employer or other payer for more information.
