What is disallowed eic? it is telling me to put yes or no and idk what it is

It is asking if you have ever received a letter from the IRS saying that they disallowed you to claim the Earned Income Credit (EIC). If you never received such letter and then answer "no" to the question if the EIC was ever disallowed.
