We have a developmentally disabled adult child. I understand the money received for her care is exempt. What do I do?

Public assistance (welfare) is neither taxable or reportable.

Unless the agency that provides this assistance is reporting it to you on a Form W-2 or 1099-MISC, you don't need to include it anywhere on your return.
