vehicle registration fee shows $0

I selected 'standard deduction' but I input vehicle registration fee $1215 in 2023.

it shows $1215 in deduction&credits screen .

but it shows $0 in deductions summary at the end of step in Turbotax application.

I think it doesn't matter because I selected 'standard deduction' but I would like know why it doesn't show...

in 2022 it was shown as below $888..

do you know the reason?

The Deductions & Credits screen shows the possible deductions as you entered them for 2023. The Deduction Summary screen shows the Standard and Itemized deductions that are applied in 2022 and 2023. If you take the Standard deduction, all of the Itemized deductions will be $0. If you itemize deductions, the Standard deduction will be $0 and you will see the itemized values listed. Did you itemize deductions for your 2022 taxes?

It is an itemized deduction.   If you take the standard deduction, you can not deduct your vehicle registration fee.   There is an entry summary which show the amounts you entered, and then there is a deductions taken summary that would show $0 if you took the standard deduction.
