Unemployed the whole 2020

I have Always file my income tax however for the year 2020 I did not work at all. I just filed my income tax for 2020 but I included my 2019, should I have done that?

I did the natural disaster section where I  placed my two economic stimulus payment. Now I do have two young dependent children that I claimed. My question is did I do the right thing by including my 2019 income tax or should I delete that and just include my dependent and the stimulus payment that I received? I also was only told to mail in my information rather than electronic. Why is that???

OK ... listen up ... in the EIC section you had the option to enter in the 2019 earned income  ONLY for the purpose of getting the EIC and CTC (you did not add 2019 income to the 2020 return ... review the form 1040 for confirmation)    that you normally would not get using the 2020 earned income and this is perfectly legal and correct so enjoy the results.
