TurboTax Vehicle Classification

TurboTax is making me pull my hair out. This year, you have have two options related to vehicle expenses. Own or lease. That's it. The car I drive for Uber/DoorDash is not owned by me. It belongs to my parents, who don't use it anymore. Is there any sort of workaround on this? I find it hard to believe I'm the only one in this position. I neither own nor lease the car. Period.

Thanks.

You can't claim the standard mileage deduction for a car that you do not own.  TurboTax asks if you own the car during the vehicle expenses interview.  On the screen Tell us about the owner of the vehicle, make sure to indicate This vehicle isn't mine.

As I've stated several times, I know I cannot write off mileage on a vehicle I do not own. So I wish people would stop pointing out the obvious to me. I get it. The problem is that when I go through the "interview" on TurboTax, it only gives me TWO choices: Own or Lease. That's it. No option to say, "Hey, I don't own this car." The problem remains.

I was able to complete the return. My initial problem was TurboTax was transferring me to QuickBooks Self Employed to fill out the automobile section, where the ownership question was all or nothing. But TurboTax had the third option of not owning or leasing the vehicle. So problem solved. Thanks for your help.
