TurboTax misrepresented my 1099-INT. I uploaded my 1099-INT to TurboTax and TurboTax change my (foreign) address to a USA address. I am a very unhappy costumer!!

TurboTax is not good for US Citizens living outside the USA. My US Bank issued my 1099-INT with my correct foreign address. But TurboTax changed the information on my 1099-INT.
Why?!
This forced me to file by mail. And change the information by hand.
TurboTax took my money and messed-up my tax filing!!!!

not sure how the bank import used your US address if it only contained your foreign address. that would not seem possible.  there is an option in Turbotax to use the address from the Federal Info worksheet but that too would have to be a US address. but this is not the default so the US address may be due to something you did rather than the import.  for a 1099-INT the only info needed is the payee and amount(s).  this should be done manually

I have the exact same issue. If the Banks are allowed to enter foreign addresses on our 1099-INT, then the software like INTUIT should also validate. It is not at all friendly to US citizens filing from outside the US. I lost my money as well and will have to manually file.
