TurboTax is attempting to give me a Colorado innovative motor vehicle credit. But the car I purchased does NOT qualify. How do I get the credit removed?

You can return to that section in the CO state return, and change your answers, or you can delete the Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit form.

Colorado allows a refundable income tax credit for the purchase or lease of a qualifying motor vehicle. In general, the credit is allowed for new electric and plug-in hybrid electric motor vehicles that are titled and registered in Colorado, although several additional requirements apply.
