TurboTax for my Ohio state filing is asking if I have a Medical Savings Account. I have a Health Savings Account (HSA). Is that the same thing?

No, a Medical Savings Account is different from a Health Savings Account (HSA).

This is referring to a Medical Savings Account set up in Ohio under the state rules, not the federal rules (there is also a Medical Savings Account on the federal level, which is not entered in the Ohio interview because you entered it on the federal return).

Just skip by any questions for the Medical Savings Account if you have an HSA.
