TURBO TAX DOESN'T SEEM TO BE CALCULATING MY POINTS ON MY MORTGAGE CORRECTLY.

IT ASKS FOR THE NUMBER OF YEARS OF THE MORGAGE (30), THEN IT ASKS  FOR THE POINTS PAID. THE POINTS PAID SHOULD BE DIVIDED BY THE NUMBER OF YEARS OF THE MORTGAGE BUT IT DOESN'T, IT SHOWS THE ENTIRE POINTS VALUE.

Yeah, have seen this in prior year's Online displays..BUT...you might need to look at the actual Schedule A to see if it's included.

With the Online software, the table displayed after you enter the mortgage and points being spread?...That table only shows the total points, but does not indicate whether or not it is actually being spread.

"Should" be OK on the actual Schedule A....if you end up having sufficient $$ of other itemized deductions entered to generate an actual Schedule A.  (But I can't actually confirm, since I don't have enough to itemize)

You are correct. It's very confusing when it shows the total value of the points right after you enter the number of years of the loan it's supposed to be spread across. I actually went back and entered the value for one year but when I got to schedule A, I realized it was spreading it, so I went back and changed it again.
