Software told me I NEEDED to buy the Deluxe pkg for foreign tax credit form 1116. I purchased it but in the end when I review I don't see that form filled out?

The income exclusion for Form 1116 would be $300 if you are using the single filing status. Also, the foreign taxes would need to be reported on a form 1099 or schedule K-1 for that to be in effect. You can try to delete the form 1116 to verify it is not in your tax files as follows:

 

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links 

4. See if Form 1116 is in the list of forms

 

You can clear your return and start it over to remove the fee and it may not populate the second time:

 

1. Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online
2. Choose Tools
3. Choose Clear and Start Over under Other Helpful Links
