Should i know if i owe back taxes ,child support or not and how could i find out?

my refund id 5067 the irs said i have a offset and they took what i owed the remaining balance is that i suppose to get back is 3406 will i receive this amount or will they take my whole entire refund?

It depends.  Since they have given a specific amount, it is likely that the amount that they say they are sending you, you will receive.  However, there is also a possibility that there are additional reasons for IRS offsets.  The only way to be certain is to follow the instructions on the following website (click on link for more information):  Tax Topic 203 - Internal Revenue Service

If you call the phone number on that site, they can provide you additional information if your refund is subject to additional offset.  They also provide the source of the offset, which you can contact to find out the details as to the amount they are expected to receive to satisfy the debt.

the IRS website said that child support was taking my refund but on the stimulus page it said that would be deposited into my account, is that true? what will it say if your not getting the stimulus check?
