Should I check self-only on line 1 on 8889-T? I have an HSA, but do not have a HDHP. It will not let me move on.

If you were not covered by a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), then you must select None for your plan type.

You are not required to be covered under an HDHP to have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or to take a distribution from the HSA, but you must be covered in order to make a contribution to an HSA.
