Should be alphanumeric. This message comes up in a black box when I enter my address in Location of Homestead Property Owned in VT state return. How do I fix?

The address can include letters, but the SPAN (school Property Account Number) must be only numbers. 

Please check your entry. 

The SPAN number is listed on your property tax bill.
