Section 179 - Entry for many Items

Hi there,

I started my film and video production in 2023 and bought a lot of video and audio equipments, some cost less than $100 while other more than $2500. If I claim Section 179 in TurboTax, do I have to enter each individual items or can I aggregate them into categories and enter the earliest purchase date? There are more than 150 items, small and large but they are all assets that last for several years, not daily expenses.

You can lump them together if you want but that can make for a real nightmare down the road when you dispose of one but not the other.

And those $100 items I would just expense.
