Says I don't qualify for eic since my income was earned as an inmate or in a halfway house which isn't true.

Go to My Info and click edit by your name.  Then go slowly through all of the questions  about yourself again.

Always use the back button to go back, to make sure that you didn't check that you were an inmate or in a halfway house.  You can double check your response before filing.  I love Turbo Tax!
