QCD Entry Instructions

I am looking for specific instructions regarding the entry of QCD values that will modify the total IRA distribution for the taxable portion.  This question has been around for several years, but all I see is a statement that in interactive mode a question will be asked.  I used web downloads for some of the 1099R entries.  I am using only a portion of the interactive mode and don't know how to get that question.  Turbo Tax should publish some specific instructions in this area.

Even if you import a 1099-R, all you have to do is EDIT whichever IRA's 1099-R you made the QCD from, and answer all the follow-up questions.....one of which will ask about how much you transferred to charity.

For ANY 1099-R you import, you should edit every one of them to answer critical follow-up questions.  There are always questions about things that are not a part imported data.

A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70½ years old or older to donate up to $108,000 total to one or more charities directly from a taxable IRA instead of taking their required minimum distributions. You enter the amount that you donated to a charity and TurboTax will subtract out up to $108,000 from your taxable IRA distributions if you qualify.  You will find the question in the interview after you enter your 1099-R.  On the screen that says "Do any of these situations apply to you?" you must indicate I transferred all or part of this money directly to charity.
