During the 2022 tax year, I earned foreign income outside of the US which qualified for the foreign earned income exclusion. As a result, I filed Form 2555 with the detail of this foreign income.
During the 2023 tax year, I did not received any foreign income, only income from my US employer. As a result, I am not looking to claim the foreign earned income exclusion and also not looking to revoke the exclusion. However, it looks like TurboTax still includes this form (2555) with my tax forms for 2023.
My question is whether it is necessary to complete Form 2555 again if I have no foreign income to declare? Can I just delete the form from TurboTax or does it still need to be completed?
