On the home office deduction, I want to switch from the actual expense method to the safe harbor method. How do I do this?

Hi nick1469 - you can change back to the simplified home office deduction by doing the following:

1. Click Federal on the left side
2. Click Review next to Self-employment income and expenses
3. Click Review next to the entry for the work where you have the home office
4. Under EXPENSES, click Edit next to Home office
5. Click Edit next to the home office
6. Continue through the questions (10 or so screens) until you get to the "Based on this info, your simplified home office deduction is:" screen.  (I attached a screenshot - your amount may be different than the screenshot)
7. Click "Yes, I want to use the simplified deduction" and Continue
