On the Deductions page, where it asks "About how much did you spend on medical expenses?", does that have to be only my own expenses or someone else's counts too?

I helped my mother pay for some dental procedures and physical rehab sessions.

Is your mother a dependent on your tax return? If not the help you gave her was a gift. Gifts are not deductible.
