No deduction when I add mortgage and property tax?

I'm using PC version of Turbotax Premier app. I've been taxed total of $12,000 for jointly married filing. When I added my mortgage and property taxes, there is no deduction showing up !?!?

I'm pretty sure that I'm eligible for this deduction. Do you have any idea?

How much is your mortgage interest, and do you have any other itemized deductions other than mortgage interest?

The recent changes in 2018 may have resulted in the standard deduction being more advantageous to you. Starting in 2018 the standard deduction is as follows:

Single/Married Filing Separate- $12,000

Head of Household- $18,000

Married Filing Joint- $24,000

If your standard deduction is higher TurboTax would utilize that vs itemizing (which is where mortgage interest is shown).
