My state tax set me up on the Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit. I was trying to find the no option but they just asked for my car's info instead. Its gas, not electric.

When filling out my state taxes, the Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit was listed. I clicked on it so I can select no or that I had a gas vehicle. Instead, it asked for my vehicle info and credited me the refund. I have a gas so I didn't think I qualified. There is no gas selection, it just assumes you have an electric. It wont let me remove the credit. Did my car actually qualify? I gave my car information and no flags came up.

If this is for Colorado, no, your gas vehicle would not qualify.   In general, the credit is allowed for new electric and plug-in hybrid electric motor vehicles that are titled and registered in Colorado, although several additional requirements apply.
