My renters damaged the house and left it with bed bugs and roaches, can I deduct the cost of cleanup and/or repairs?

Yes, you can list the expenses for your repairs, cleanup, maintenance, and pest treatment in the Rental Income and Expense section of TurboTax.

Some items will be considered improvements to the property and should be entered in the section for assets rather than expenses.  These would be items that become permanent fixtures in the home such as new flooring, new appliances, etc.
