My itemized deductions on form A are not consistent with what TT is putting on line 12 of my 1040.

I have entered all of my itemized deductions and they are complete.  The problem is TT is putting a different amount on line 12 of form 1040.  When I go to 1040, nothing is highlighted on a right click, so I can't do a thing about it.

Please help. I'm disappointed.

The numbers don't always add up the same. For example, the state and local taxes paid, regardless of the amount paid, the deduction is $10,000. Then, there is the AMT that kicks in based on your income that can change the allowed deduction. You must have one or both of these changing your information. For the AMT, you will have a form 6251 in your return showing the changes.
