My husband and i have a small farm. file married filing jointly. why 2 schedule f in community property state

My husband and I file taxes married filing jointly.  We have a small farm and need to enter expenses on schedule f.  software wants each of us to file a schedule f.  we live in a community property state and didn't think we had to do this.
