My husband and I both work from home and filing jointly. Can we both itemize a percentage of our home taxes, insurance, home expenses and utilities for our office portion?

Yes, whether both operate the same business or if you operate two different businesses out of your home, you can allocate a portion of the expenses related to your home as "home office" expense deductions.  (See the criteria below for home office deductions.)

When filing jointly, if you both are working for the same business, you would only need to enter the portion of the home expenses for that business and not expenses for each of you.  BUT, if you each operate a different business in your home, then you would allocate the portion of the home used for each business separately under the income and expenses related to that particular business.
