My HSA is showing as an excess fee--- but i know this is incorrect.

How do you know it's incorrect? The best thing to do would be to contact your HSA provider. My daughter had to do that to get her 1099-SA.

Hi --- I did reach out and they said i did not overfund and I should check with turbo tax to see why that message was showing up. It turns out that Turbo Tax is requiring you to pay for their upgraded edition in order to answer the rest of the HSA questions. Otherwise it will show are you are overfunded. Seems unethical to me.

Interesting. Which version do you have? I have the Deluxe version and had no problems with the HSA questions. The free version doesn't handle more detailed topics.
