My home address has a special character in it but the special character doesn't show up on my state return. Is there some way I can correct it?

My home address has a slash ("/") in it but the slash is omitted from my home address on my state return (it is present on my federal return). I tried updating my address from the "My Info" page. My address includes the slash on the "My Info" page but it sill does not include the slash on my state return. Is there a way I can correct my home address to include the slash on my state return? Or do I have to print it out, correct it manually, and file by mail? I'd prefer to e-file but I don't see a way I can correct my address and I don't want to file my state taxes with an incorrect address.

I called the support phone number about this issue. They said there's no way to change it in product. They recommended I print out the return, fix it manually, and the file it by mail. Or they said that the IRS will likely be able to look up my address even if the slash was missing so they said I could e-file if I wanted to but they said if it was concerning to me, then I should file by mail. Hopefully they can fix this issue in the next version of TurboTax Online.

You mentioned state (not the Federal IRS). Some states do not permit special characters on their tax returns.

Ok, that's useful to know. How do you know that (or how could I know that)? Is there a source where that information is posted? If so, can you please share the source?
