Married filling jointly. Went and added a contribution the next day and nothing is updating. Tried deleting it, but no matter what I do it shows $25.00.

Thank you so much for this question and answer! I was going crazy trying to figure out why it wasn't updating! Personally I think this is a poor way to handle the Cares Act charitable contributions - I am guessing most people just update their list of charitable contributions the way we always have and don't realize it doesn't update the 1040.
