It will not allow me to go past the adoptive child information and i have no children. I don't know what else to do!

It keep's redirecting me to the same adoption child and i don't have any children, What am i suppose to do?+

You can go back to your return and delete the adoption credit:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Go to the the adoption credit section:
    • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to adoption credit.
    • TurboTax Desktop: Search for adoption credit and select the Jump to link.
  3. Edit the adoption credit
  4. Delete it

If this doesn't resolve your issue, you might need to clear your cache (that is, remove these temporary files).  A full or corrupted cache can cause problems in TurboTax.  You can try these steps if you are using the online version:

 

  • Clearing your Cache and Cookies
  • Using a different browser
  • Opening an Incognito Window
