You may have inadvertently responded to a prompt in the TurboTax interview that generated this problem.  To get past it in TurboTax Online:

  1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
  2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown on the right side of the Income & Expenses box, then select Start, Review/Edit, Continue or Pick up where you left off
  3. Select the dropdown to the right of Less Common Investments and Savings (1099-OID, contracts and straddles, etc.
  4. Select Start or Revisit to the right of 1099-OID, Foreign Accounts
  5. Continue through the following screens, unselecting any boxes that might have been previously selected incorrectly

Next, I would like for you to try to delete the form that records this answer - Schedule B.  To do that follow these steps in TurboTax Online:

  1. Click on Tax Tools in the menu on the left.
  2. Click on Tools
  3. in the pop-up box select Delete a Form
  4. Scroll down the list of forms on the side and select Schedule B and delete the form

Next, clear the cache and cookies from your browser's settings (Ctrl+shift+delete in Chrome)

Finally, close your browser, re-open and then log back into TurboTax and see if this will clear that error for you.
