Deductions of my payments towards charitable events, church donations, and out of pocket medical expenses, prescription drug costs, miles to doctor appointments, miles during charitable events and other things I can itemize for tax deductions.
It would be nice to then be able to use this TurboTax form ( .xls form?) to import the data while filling out the appropriate areas of my tax forms when I prepare my 2017 taxes.
You can track donations using It's Deductible which imports to Turbo Tax. You can check out It's Deductible here…..

Peter - I volunteer in the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program and tell my clients to keep a simple notebook log sheet for each category writing in the date, description, amount, and mileage if applicable for qualified medical expenses. I tell them to total each category before coming in and be sure to have all the supporting data in the event of an IRS audit.
I myself use an Excel spreadsheet for each category of itemized deductions and it totals everything for me. I just have to remember the make all the entries. Tom D.
