incorrect calculation, how to change on form MI 2210

On MI form 2210, line 25 is supposed to multiply line amount on line 23 by line 24.  But it is NOT doing that.  I just talked to a supposed TT expert who could not tell me how to override the calculated number with the correct one.  The box is blue and I can't delete the wrong number.   There must be some way to enter the correct number.  Please help!

Yes, you can make the entry correct.  You can see the blue box so you must be in Forms mode. Look at the annualized income worksheet below it. It should be completely filled in along with the payment information above line 25.

  1. If everything is right except that one box, we only have one option left this close to the end of tax season, override.
  2. Go back to step by step so the program will pick up the numbers.
  3. Go through the state again
  4. Go back to Forms mode and cancel override.
  5. The program should hold the correct numbers now.

To override, on a windows computer, right click, select override from the options. For a MAC, command click. The overridden numbers will be red on your screen.
