In the state of Michigan, can I claim a vehicle renewal fee? It is a yearly fee and where in the state tax area would this be?

The part of your annual MI vehicle registration fee that is based on the vehicle's value is an itemized deduction on your federal return.  If you itemize, you can enter the appropriate fee paid using these steps. It is not a MI state income tax deduction.
