If you work part time(W2) in a Union (paying Union fees) but also working as Self-employed(1099).Can you deduct Union Fees as an expense for the 1099?If yes, where in TT?

Self-employed(1099) in a business that may or not be related to the Union.

If the union fees are an ordinary and necessary expense for your self-employed business then you can deduct them as a business expense.

If they are related to your work as an employee, you cannot deduct them as a business expense even if you are self-employed.
