If you sell stocks during the year you will get a 1099 B Would you also get a 1099 DIV?

Most often, if you have a brokerage account, the consolidated 1099-B will also report your dividends. So, the 1099-DIV & INTs will get reported on the same statement. The 1099s are usually in the first 3 pages of the statement. See image below for a sample.

If you own stocks in a taxable account, they may generate dividends during the year and a 1099-DIV would be issued to report them.
