If I had to get CPR/First aid training for work that is not reimbursed, can I deduct it on my taxes?

For working at a daycare, I was required to take a CPR/First aid course and was not reimbursed. Can I deduct the price of the course on TurboTax?

No, not on your federal return, but possibly on your state return depending on which state you live in.  This would be considered an employee job related expense which is not deductible under current federal tax law.  Certain states do allow this deduction.  If your state allows for a deduction of employee job related expenses, then as you walk through TurboTax, you will be asked if you have any of those expenses.

Which state do you live in?

Oregon is not one of the states that allows a deduction for an employee job-related expense.
