If I get copay assistance for a medication, should I not record that in the "medication expenses"?

If someone, or some organization,  is reimbursing you or paying the copay for you, then it is not a deductible expense for you.  After you enter all your medical expenses, you'll be asked for any insurance payments you received for these expenses, so, if an insurance company is paying you, you can deduct that amount from your expenses at that point.  If it's someone other than insurance, just don't enter the expense since you didn't actually pay for it yourself.
