If I am given a cashiers check of over $300k as a gift & put into a personal checking account, will this be flagged by the bank for taxes to be paid?

Gifts received from an individual are not reported on a federal tax return as income, regardless of the amount received as a gift.

Interest earned on the funds deposited into the bank are reported on a federal tax return.
