If a wig is necessary due to farm accident where person's scalp was amputated and reattached can the wig be claimed as a medical deduction?

Cannot grow hair.  Has nothing to do with chemo?

You can include in medical expenses the cost of a wig purchased upon the advice of a physician for the mental
health of a patient who has lost all of their hair from disease.
