I work abroad & have foreign income which I entered in W2 box 1. In the page where I am asked to confirm my wages I already entered, it is being doubled. Why doubled?

My foreign salary is 121,764. It is being double to 243,528 right above the box of Wages Adjustment. My foreign tax credit is 121,764 but because salary is being doubled, I am have a US tax liability of 22264 whereas I pay high tax in the country where I work. Why is turbo tax doubling my salary on its own?

You do not enter your foreign salary as a form W-2. You enter it in the foreign earned income section. Entering it also as a form W-2 will double-count your salary.

You now have to delete the form W-2 that you entered by clicking on the trash can icon next to it on the list of W-3 forms.
