I was forced to move out of my house due to a Large gas leak from a facility above my home in Porter Ranch. Can I write this off?

I remained out of my home almost 4 months and we had additional cost of living expenses during this time.

Even though you incurred additional living expenses due to this event, the added expenses are not considered a casualty loss or otherwise deductible under IRS rules.
