I wanted to ask about vehicle auto repairs, and if I can apply those to my tax return. I am an employee, so I don't really know.

I paid about 2700 for a transmission repair, $1500 for motor mounts, and other costs. If I total all the costs for vehicles within the last year it might be around $5000.

Generally automobile expenses are not deductible on your taxes unless you use them in your business, or if you are required to do driving as an employee (other than commuting).
