I sold an asset and it asks for purchase and sale date, then it goes to sle of business asset and it shows a dollar value. How do I edit that dollar value.

Go back to the section where it was entered and edit the asset. If rental or business or whichever section it is in. Edit and correct. If you aren't sure, look at your tax forms to see which form it is on and we can back track.
