I receive a W2. My wife does not receive a w2. I also have business. Wife helps with business. Child in daycare. Can I deduct child care expenses?

I have a full-time job for which I receive a W2.  My wife does not receive a W2.  I also have a small business that I run from the house.  My wife helps out with that business.  As a result we have our 4 year old in daycare.  Can I deduct the child care expenses and, if so, how?

You can only deduct child care if your wife has earned income. So you would have to employ her as an employee or she would be an independent contractor if she meets the qualifications.
