Here are the steps to enter into the information in TurboTax Online to generate the forms you need to report your foreign earned income:

First, make sure you report your foreign address in My Info

Enter your income in the appropriate categories including W2 wages, which can report income from foreign based companies

Make sure you click this income was earned outside the US

You will also report interest, dividends and other types of income earned abroad.

Then go to the Foreign Earned Income Exclusion, Turbotax will ask you

Was Your Foreign Income Reported on a W-2, Ready?

Click on No, I'll keep working on the foreign income exclusion.

Two pages later, it will ask you to confirm the amount of foreign wages on your W-2.

On the desktop version of Home & Business ( on-line should be pretty similar , I think ), once you go into personal income, select  " I will work on ...) for the income categories, then select "Other uncommon ..." near the bottom of the list of  income categories,  click  on "Foreign Earned Income and Exclusion" --- it should then help you fill out form 2555 and then depending on your circumstances  take you to form 1116 etc.

Try this on your return  and I will also flag this to other SU , whom is familiar with on-line version
