I qualify for a 2,100 moving expense credit but it didn't add additional money to my refund. Am I doing something wrong?

If you're referring to the Moving Expenses (See Moving Expense Screen), Moving expenses is an adjustment to your income and not a credit. This adjustment will appear on your 1040 form. See Part 1-3 photos below for steps to view moving expense deduction on 1040.

Moving expense will lower the amount of income but may not trigger a bigger refund because you may not have originally owed taxes prior to entering the moving expenses.

Any credits you qualify for will appear the taxes and credits or the payments section of the 1040 (See Credit Section photos).
