I put in my Mortgage Insurance Premiums amount in Deluxe Turbo Tax and it counted it as zero. Why?

The deduction for mortgage insurance premiums has expired. You can't claim a deduction for amounts paid or accrued after 2017.  As of this date the Congress has not renewed the deduction for tax year 2018.
