I paid my 2021 property taxes late in 2022. Can I deduct those property taxes this year?

The year the tax was "for" does not matter.  What matters is WHEN you paid the property tax.   If you paid it in 2022, you can use it on your 2022 tax return.  Remember that there is a $10,000 SALT cap on the amount of state and local tax you can use as a federal deduction--which will include the property tax.
