I own property in a state i do not reside in. I pay property Taxes on the property but do not have a mortgage. Do i need to file this anywhere on my taxes?

You can claim property taxes paid for this property on your federal tax return.

 

If the property is not rented, you are not required to file a state return for the state where the property is situated.
